Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Amped Foreman, the AI estimating and field operations platform built for trade contractors.
What is Amped Foreman?
Amped Foreman by Amped Integrations is AI estimating and field ops for trade contractors. It reads plans, builds a supply-house-ready bill of materials with NECA labor units, and runs the field side: crew schedules, daily reports, punch lists, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Who is Amped Foreman built for?
Trade contractors doing $2M to $20M in annual revenue. Electrical estimating is live today. Mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing estimating modules are on the roadmap. Field operations works for every trade today.
What happens on the demo?
Forty-five minutes in a sandbox. Pre-loaded plans, pre-loaded projects, real field data. You walk every module yourself before any sales call. Want a guided tour after, request one in the same flow.
How is this different from Accubid or PlanSwift?
Accubid assumes a full-time estimator and a Windows desktop. PlanSwift gives you a takeoff but no estimating database and no field ops. Amped Foreman runs the whole bid-to-punch-list workflow in one place, in a browser, with AI doing the takeoff.
How is this different from Procore?
Procore is built for the general contractor at $50M plus. Amped Foreman is built for the trade contractor at $2M to $20M. Different audience, different price point, different workflow.
Who owns my data?
You do. Export any estimate, project, or report as CSV or PDF any time. If you cancel, you get a full data export before the account closes.
Is my data secure?
SOC 2 Type II is in progress. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Row-level security scoped to your shop so your data never touches another shop's account. Annual third-party penetration testing is part of the security program.
Does Amped Foreman integrate with QuickBooks?
Yes. We sync cost codes, vendors, purchase orders, and invoices to QuickBooks Online. Sage 100 Contractor integration is on the roadmap.
Does it work offline?
The mobile app caches daily reports, photos, and time entries on the device and syncs when service comes back. Built for foremen working in basements and parking garages.
How long does onboarding take?
Week one, plan upload and material database setup. Week two, estimator onboarding, two or three live bids in parallel with your current process. Weeks three and four, field rollout, crews on the mobile app for daily reports, time tracking, and punch lists.
Who built Amped Foreman?
Founder Andy Paschal scaled MMP Electrical Services from zero to $10M in eight months running Tesla work in California, then formed AP Electric and ran it to $15M before starting Amped Integrations in November 2025. The product comes from real takeoffs, real field days, and real bids.
How does pricing work?
We are still in early access. Pricing is set per shop based on user count and module needs. Request a demo and we will walk pricing on the call.
